Meet Dr. Corbett
Dr. Dan Corbett is the owner and CEO of Corbett Chiropractic & Health Enhancement located at 423 Division Street South in Northfield, Minnesota..
He utilizes several chiropractic techniques in his practice. Approximately 80 percent of his spinal adjustments use the hands on, manual techniques of the Gonstead and Diversified philosophies. These techniques are very beneficial for patients who want pain relief, an increased range of motion in their spine, reduced spinal stiffness and overall improved health. The other 20 percent of his adjustments use adjuster instrumentation. This is a lighter force technique which utilizes a hand-held instrument. This technique is very beneficial for infants, senior citizens, those affected by osteoporosis and patients who do not like the cracking sound of a manual adjustment.
He's also certified in the Graston Technique, a form of manual therapy that uses specifically-designed stainless steel instruments to break down scar tissue and restrictions that are usually associated with some form of trauma to the soft tissue (such as a strained muscle, pulled ligament). He's treating more and more sports-related injuries.
